So.. “Poppy” - my grandfather - apparently decided that he wanted to refurbish a jacket that was getting old. The solution? Paint it black. “You painted your jacket?”
“Yeah - ohhh it looked so shiny”
The downside? It left little flecks of paint all over the seat his new car.

One of my relatives: “Hey everyone, lets watch a movie… What’s on? How about this? What about this one?”
Me: “What about the show that is on now?”
My relatives: “No I want to watch a movie…”
Other relatives: “Yeah - let’s put a movie. How about this one?”
Another relative: “OK good - I’m putting this one on.”
6:15 pm
[I'm sitting alone in the living room while everyone else has gone off to do something else]
7:15 pm
[I'm half watching the movie and an important part comes on]
A relative: “Frank - Who is that actor? What is going on? Whats happening? What is that all about? I have a funny story to tell you. Do you remember the time when…?”

I didn’t know about Ricky Gervais‘ podcast until I came across it looking for something entirely unrealted on iTunes.
Its him, Stephen Merchant (the guy who played his agent in ‘Extras’) and Karl Pilkington (a superb straight-man comedian) just having a chat about anything and it is f**king hysterical. I was listening to it while riding the bike at the gym today and laughing out loud.
Note to Darren - you MUST alert me to stuff like this 
Drew, Julie and Jessica visited this weekend. It was kinda like a hurricane and a tornado had it out in the living room and guest roon, but overall we had a good time.
We had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and saw “Nanny McPhee” on Friday night. Then on saturday we all went to Martha’s for her open house party. Apparently the crab cakes were “to die for”.
They’ve got socks and all the soap has been washed out of their hair. So now they’re all off to go to grandma’s house in West Virgina.
I’ll be doing some cleaning. And laundry. Then more cleaning…
