The Garbage Disposal

Last time I clogged up the garbage disposal it took me near 4 hours to sort out how to un-clog it including time spent on the interweb and using strategies that were really meant for another type of problem entirely.

This time it took only 40 minutes, including clean up of all of the chopped up carrot shavings that plugged up the disposal drain.

A few more times and I’ll have it down so fast that it will be less effort to remove the occasional clog than to be consciencious about what I throw down there.

Sweet.

I guess a garbage disposal is more similar to the human body than we think. You can’t just throw any ol thing down there and not expect things to clog up once in a while.

After seeing the clog shoot out of the pipe when I disassembled it and plunged the drain, it’s perhaps an even more apt analogy than you intended :-)

Whatever you do, don’t throw a summer roll down there.
