Working with Tile
Tonight I met up with Martha, Cory, Nicole and Sharon for a class in “working with tile” over at the Home Depot in Durham. They teach you how to tile a wall or floor and let you try everything out.
The guy teaching us, Mark, was from Canada, so Merth and Cor felt a great affinity for him.
All in all, it doesn’t seem like doing tile is as hard as I thought. Not that its easy, but not impossible if you wanted to try it…

Doing habitat for humanity made me realize that houses really aren’t that hard to build - a lot of work certainly, but not rocket science. You learn how to put on a roof shingle, and repeat until the roof is done. Same for drywalling, and apparently tiling.
Doing things artfully is another matter entirely…

I think you need to start drinking more. I looked at your flickr and saw an assload of old people. And now I see you’re hanging out at Home Depot and figuring out tile? What are you, 90?
