clever little gmail trick - categorize your mail by modifying your mail address

Let’s say you join the British Airways e-mail list, when you register you can type in your name as userB+travel@gmail.com . Then when you get an e-mail from them, it’s sorted in its own inbox. So you can create your own categories this way.

    That’s been a trick to use with many email providers for a while - just not all of them would work. Great that Gmail supports it - can also be a great way to figure out who is selling your email (unless they’re smart enough to filter out stuff after ‘+’)
